Two questions for you CD. I like all of your picks each week, but this one got me wondering...why the Redskins over the Seahawks? Why the Cowboys over the 49ers? Got a season long pool I'm in the running to win... help a brother out.
for sure, totally get why these look questionable. Russ hasn't been the same QB lately and the Washington pass rush is powerful enough to keep him discombobulated. Seattle is the perfect amount of shaky for Haskins to prove himself in a playoff race. risky pick, so i understand if you're not on board, but i'm taking a swing.
Cowboys over Niners is just a gut pick. two trick-or-treat teams. honestly, upon review i probably would go Niners, but Dallas looked competent last week and gets a team on a 1-5 skid.
For what it's worth, I'm going with the 'Hawks for two reasons. WFT O and 'Hawks run game. WFT is gonna be missing Gibson/Smith (remember they went away from Haskins for a reason) and are the 30th ranked O. The 'Hawks have their running game on all cylinders now with Carson and Hyde full stride. Plus, Russ is Russ.
26-17 'Hawks.
SF v. DAL ... Cowboys are the 32nd overall ranked D and the Niners can run the ball to take advantage of that. DAL has a bit more momentum with Dalton looking good but they are still both 2-5 in their last 7. And...fun fact. Every time Dallas wins, the next week, they lose by an average of 20 points (117-57). I think the Niners can at least keep that average to single digits.
nebraska played terible this year in 2020 there recered was 3 and 5 that bad man

24-20 Niners.
Keep up the good work man! Good stuff.
great analysis. definitely appreciate the thought you put into this, it's good stuff.
well, 50/50, so we were both half right. at least i can take some solace in beating the spread on both (and not getting ruined by the Falcons)
